Good communities give people a reason to step outside. At Kinglet by Big Lake, that reason now includes a playground.
On Saturday October 17, from 12 to 2 pm, we’re celebrating the playground grand opening with the community. Come try the playground, grab a coffee from the Colombian coffee truck, and eat a bag of mini doughnuts from Big Wayne’s Mini Treats.
Built for the neighbourhood
The playground was built with nature in mind, the design incorporates natural slopes of the area and it backs onto the environmental reserve, so the play space feels like part of the landscape. It was designed with all ages in mind, with inclusive equipment so there’s something for every age to try.
Where neighbours meet
A playground does more than keep kids busy. It’s where parents trade school tips, kids make their first friends on the street, and a new neighbourhood starts to feel like home. That’s the idea behind Kinglet, and with 5 km of pathways and natural trails, some leading straight into Lois Hole Centennial Provincial Park and Big Lake, and a 60-acre Environmental Reserve at its core, the playground is one more reason to get outside.
Meet the builders
Several of our builder partners will be there with the Anthem land communities’ team. If you’re thinking of calling Kinglet home, now is the perfect time to see and experience what makes Kinglet by Big Lake so special.
